1. Define the terms environment and ecosystem and explain their respective components.

8. Analyse critically how tourism development is both an opportunity as well as a pressure on the local community.
9. How do hotel operations impact the environment? Discuss various initiatives taken up by the hotel industry to minimize their negative environmental impact foot prints.
10. Considering yourself a responsible tourist, how would you conduct yourself during your travels on a holiday trip?
