Evaporation:
The water cycle begins with the process of evaporation, where water from

Transpiration:
Plants also contribute to the water cycle through transpiration. Water absorbed

Condensation:
As water vapor rises into the atmosphere, it cools and condenses into tiny

they fall back to the Earth's surface as precipitation, which includes rain,

Precipitation that does not infiltrate into the ground becomes surface runoff,
flowing into streams, rivers, and eventually back into oceans, lakes, or other
